Campus Safety Escort Service
The Police Department offers a walking on-campus safety escort service that is available 24 hours a day to all members of the University community.
The escort service is designed to enhance your safety and peace of mind if you must walk particularly after dark. All members of the campus community are encouraged to take advantage of this service.
To arrange for an escort please call extension 5222 or use one of the emergency phones located throughout campus.
When calling, please be prepared to give the following information: your name, your exact location, and your destination. If calling from your cell phone our communications center can be reached by dialing (815) 836-5222.
